This blog it seems is way overdue for a new design. I worked really hard on the current flat design but still it was all mine and it took me days to get it perfect. But just a little FYI there is something in the works! Maybe even a few swaps and giveaways as well. This crisp winter is just giving me more and more reasons to stay indoors and not to leave anywhere! School has kept me pretty busy, so I have a mess-load of bookmarked ideas that I just cant wait to try this winter! So.. Stay tuned folks. I sure {heart} all of ya!

What I L♥VE Thursday

Its here, Thursday. THe day when Its no longer the beginning of the week, but not quite the end either. The weekend is right around the corner, and with each day comming forth, that means Winter is right around the corner. Although I am not a fan of winter, or being cold in general, I think I will embrace it a little bit more this go round. I will no longer be in the craziest of places having to travel such distance on icy roads just to do some minor grocery shopping. Nevertheless, I do enjoy fall. This particular Thursday I am enjoying several little lovelies that I think are share-worthy.

First, I have noticed more so now then ever, how beautiful the sun shines through the fall colored trees, and I always seem to miss the moment to take a picture of such a breathe-taking view. So I found one that I enjoy just as much.

I am nearly done with my 'clinical' stage in school. I have done some good hands on demonstrations and I am so happy to nearly be done. the 12 hour clinical days can be a real feet-killer, but Im excited to see where this path will take me!

The Burning Bushes I planted this fall in my back yard have done very well, and the color on the is so pretty!

I have finally got all my 'storage' downstairs from couponing organized. I was so hot and bothered by the way it was starting to all add up with no where to put it, that I caved in and talked the hubby into buying some really awesoem shelves! Best part, they have wheels an can be moved very easily even if stocked full!

I must say, Fresh veggies from the garden this time of year ROCK! can we say SQUASH and more SQUASH!

Halloween decor is fullfiling my home! Fromt he refridgerator to the new stuff I just cant live without. I love Halloween. Crossing fingers for a warm night!

Instead of carving pumpkins we made the cutes addition to our Fall Decor: Arent they cute!

So much goodness happening. I have finished all the MUST HAVES to start school in just a few weeks! YEAH YEAH!! I cant tell ya how stoked I am! BUSY BUSY! I have been extremly busy with kids' appointments n such, that I haven't had a chance to go buy me a new USB cord for my digi yet. thats a major bummer! I have so many pictures I want to share. Looks like I will be posting pictures of my flowers and such, when winter is here. Oh well, I guess it will give me a uplifting feel of summer, since I think winter is such a drag. Well I did in all the other states I lived in, I am still yet to expierence a winter in my new home, so this may be different. ANYWAYS... I am looking forward to Rockin out this week to Pop Evil... I wish I could get back on track. But you know what, I have been enjoying summer so much, that I haven't had time to get on to a regular schedule. Staying up until 3 and 4 in the morning is getting drastic. But I must say, I am enjoying being a night owl. I was at walmart lastnight at 2am just to get toothpaste!

Ive been obsessing about tearing out the side of my yard and creating a moss garden. I love moss sooo much. It just so happens that the side that would be perfect for a moss garden gets sunshine all day long. so maybe its not so perfect afterall...
waking up to the thunderstorm was absolutly fabulous, then when I looked out at my rose bush that I just planted, the one and only single *always and forever* rose that stood so red and bold on the top of the bush, was beat all to heck with the wind. grr...
my little munchkins, have been going crazy since summer started and since we are back home they have been going non-stop.. I have trouble keeping up at times. So needless to say, I am secretly looking forward to school starting soon. (secretly, i said....)

Caitlin sent me her love story some time ago, during my move and my re-move, so I have had this one stashed in my "TO DO" file for some time now. This is a fabulous story of love being reunited, and I am so happy to share and add this to my Love Series Series.

My husband, Rob, and I have been together for 8 1/2 years, married for 10 months. We initially met in high school. We're from a small area, and we had tons of connections that we had never realized until we actually began dating (for example, his stepmother was my sister's kindergarten teacher, and his father, a physician, at one point worked with my mother, a nurse).

Rob was in a band and was madly in love with a girl. Nobody knew who she was because he was very tight-lipped about it. He would write her these beautiful songs and sang them with his band (at this point people always think it was me--it wasn't. We hadn't formally met up to this point). One day I went to go see the band play. I met the band and long story short, I started dating the bassist. We were together for 2 months, but throughout that entire time Rob and I would talk for hours online, and would frequently talk about how we wanted to hang out without my bassist boyfriend around. He even confessed to me who "mystery girl" was after about 2 weeks of knowing each other. He was and is not an overly trusting person but knew that he could trust me.

One night in December we were talking online and he told me that though he could tell me everything, he had one secret he could not share. I kept asking what it was, and told him that I had a “secret” too. Eventually we played rock-paper-scissors over instant message and I lost, and confessed my feelings, which he clearly reciprocated. I broke up with my boyfriend the next day, talked to Rob for literally hours, and he told me that he loved me. The first time we ever held hands at school we cried together and I could literally see his heart beating through his shirt (wow, were we teenagers or WHAT?).

A few weeks later was our first Valentine's Day. As a surprise Rob sang me a song he had written for me in front of our entire high school cafeteria. If you know Rob you know that he is extremely shy, and this was huge for him.

We spent the next year and a half in young-love-bliss until he left for the Army, which I had known was his dream since childhood. I skipped school on April 13, 2004 and we had our last full, non-Army day together. On April 14, he went to Basic Training, and from then until July we only communicated through letters and two 5-minute phone calls. On the weekend of July 4, I traveled to Georgia to visit him for a 30 hour pass. 30 hours seemed like forever after being apart so long, but was gone in an instant. He was then stationed in Anchorage, AK while I went to college in Wisconsin.

As we were too young to get married, we stayed together without tying the knot for the next four years. I was in college so we only saw each other every 2-3 months or so. I think the longest amount of consecutive time we spent together at a time was 2 weeks. This went on until 2006, when he left for Iraq. He was there during one of the bloodiest times in the war, and he was on the front lines which did him no favors. He was shot and was involved in several IED explosions, but miraculously survived. Rob was known around his Company as the guy that should've died several hundred times but who somehow always made it out relatively unscathed, a fact that he owes to the existence of a tiny stuffed raccoon I had given him early in the relationship. I had been given the raccoon when I was 4 and in the hospital with a tumor in my kidney. He carried her with him always and to this day swears that he'd be dead if he didn't have her (and, by proxy, me) with him always. He even got a tattoo of the raccoon, named Elizabeth.

I didn't see him for 8 months and we communicated infrequently by phone. His unit experienced numerous casualties, being an infantry unit, so he was not allowed a cell phone or personal internet use. At one point we went three weeks without any communication whatsoever. In January of 2007 I flew to Russia for a 4-month study abroad experience. Thankfully, Rob and I were able to talk about as much as we did previously and we were finally in the same time zone. I left Russia in May and he returned to Maine for two weeks in June after eight months of being overseas. After that two weeks ended, we said the most horrific goodbye in our short history, and I didn't see him for another six months. I entered my senior year of college, trying to hold it together and get my degree. Though we often went weeks without talking, our love/communication/trust never wavered, and never did we even consider that we should not be together.

In May 2008 I graduated college and he got out of the army (hopefully) forever. We have lived together in happiness and love since. Rob entered college, studying Environmental Science, and will graduate in May 2012. On Valentine's Day 2009 he sang me a song in our living room (reminiscent of our first Valentine's Day) and proposed to me. Very clearly I said yes, and we had the wedding of our dreams on July 10, 2010.

I feel so extremely fortunate to have met and married my best friend. For Rob and I, staying together was never a question or a doubt. My relationship with my husband has always just come easily to me, the only thing I'm totally sure of in my life aside from my family. When I look back on what we've gone through and how it has strengthened us, I am filled with pride, love, and happiness.

Awkward

I glanced out the window a few days ago to see the neighbor guy (in his mid 40's or 50's) wearing a rock n' roll belly shirt, and shorts that reminded me of Reno 911. Much to my amazement, he was flying a kite. He was running from one end of our cul-de-sac to the other with a cheesy grin on his face, and I must say, I felt awkward. (for him)
At the check-out line in the grocery store, I glaced back to see a classmate that I graduated with. I asked how he was doing and since we were about 2 people apart from eachother I holler back to him "How is your wife so-so doing?" He waves his hands back and forth as to be signaling to me that shes gone. "we are divorced" he hollered back to me. My cheeks turned bright red as I walked back to him and apologized for the honest mistake of being such a jerk.
With my lil family at the local pizza joint and the kids had earned tokens from the arcade games they had been playing. We go to cash them in for a prize and as its Sissys turn to choose hers, she yells out really loud (she was a very tired 3 year old who skipped her nap) "I DONT KNOW WHAT I WANT" so as I try to mediate with her some good ideas - "how about that really neat spinner top?" she starts to yell even louder saying stuff that I dont even understand. I look up at the teenage boy behind the counter with a look of shock on his face as he is spinning the top on the glass for us to see. "We wont be getting anything today." I tell him as I picked up the histerical 3 year old girl and left the game room

AWESOME!

My dad bought me the raddest BBQ'er last weekend and I have grilled and fried dinner on it every single night of the week!
My oldest just turned 9 and he is going to be getting his go-cart today!
My darling little girl picked a bunch of dandilions and some kinda weed with a flower on it, and placed it ever so nicely in a glass jar for me, and said Im the best mom ever.
The fact that we have been getting some nice weather outside, and I planted my new shrubs out back (Burning bushes) they will look awesome in the fall!

I am enjoying being in our home, and I am certainly excited to be frugal about my interiour decor. I just finished making my jewelry holder. So here is a glance:

Good day to all you lovlies out there! I have to say that I am pretty excited to be up and running again with internet! A few updates include but not limited to..

We bought our very own house. Shes cozy and just the way I have pictured it since day one.

We are in the city and have great neigbors.

The kids have made friends and have been outside playing since we moved in.

All my stuff that has been in storage for years, is now in my home! Its been like Christmas going through all this stuff!

We removed all the carpet from the house and laid all new, Painted every square inch of this beauty, and now its practically brand new.

I finished remodeling the bathroom yesterday! Hurray for me. My hubby has liad tile and he did such a great job. Kudos!

HUGE HUGS to all of you and your awesome comments. * I read all of them!* although I didn't have much time to reply, I take them all to heart. I miss all your lovely ideas andr ecipes or just random rants. I cant wait to have my tea or coffee hour and get back on to reading them.

Do you wanna hear a Love Story from one of my fellow followers? I was so happy to recieve this from Tracy, and I am now excited to share it with all of you. There are more pictures on her blog of her wedding, love story, ect.. If you haven't been there before, Please do! Okay, Intro please...!!

♥♥♥ Hi, I’m Tracy from Scribble Smudge, a blog about my life as a newlywed. My love story started more than a year ago, and has been a to the mazing every day since then. My husband Doug and I met at a bon fire in January 2010. I was with two of my girlfriends, just minding my own business, when a curly-haired girl came up to me and said, “ So, I have a friend who keeps staring at you. He’s really shy, so would you mind coming to say hi?” I (obviously) had my girlfriends check him out, waited for the head nod and walked over to Doug. We talked about our jobs as teachers, hobbies, baseball and triathlons, and it was going quite swimmingly until I had to leave and all he did was shake my hand! No phone number inquiry? Psshhhh. I asked if he had a girlfriend and if he wanted my number, to which he replied something like, “Uh, um, yeah, you’re really attractive!” I was smitten.

Our first date was two days later at the bowling alley. Doug made me laugh and asked a lot of questions, which I liked (he also let me win... three times). Five days and three more dates after that I finally decided he was worthy of a smooch. That was the first of 470,297,403,401 smooches (exactly). Fast-forward six months – past concerts, baseball games, camping trips and a vacation in Seattle – and we were mad about each other.

We road tripped from Washington to San Francisco in July, and our first stop was Crater Lake, Oregon. We spent the first day hiking the lake and cliff jumping into the fa-fa-freezing water. After setting up camp we took a drive to the highest point of the lake to watch the sun set (how did I fall for that one?). Unfortunately it was 20 below outside (actual temperature: 54), so I was in a hurry to get back to the tent. Doug asked that I take a photo of the sunset before we left, so I turned around and snapped the picture. When I turned back around, Doug was on. one. knee. “Ohmygiddygodthisisit,” I thought. And it was.

With a $6,000 budget (!!!), we planned our shabby chic, rustic wedding for December 2010. Our ceremony took place on a historic battlefield in the park we frequently biked in. The reception was under a tent in my parents’ barn and pasture, and it was sooo fist-pump (and Ruffled) worthy. Almost everything was handmade by either Doug, my parents or my bridal party, which made it vair vair memorable.

Since December, Doug and I have continued to spend most of our time outside, either at the beach or in a park. We also enjoy setting our tent up in the living room, practicing our trust falls, and eating Belgian waffles like they are hard to come by or something. I am learning so much about marriage and what it means to love and appreciate another person. Doug makes me laugh every day, and he always greets me with a hug and kiss. And sometimes a high five.

Since I have been back in Idaho the wind hasn't stopped at all. It may blow any which way it pleases, but I hear its been like this since last June?! The occasional cloud moved out of the suns view, and it peeked out for only a few short minutes, enough for a tease, and then it was over.

The wind blew so hard lastnight, that I was up all night thinking that there was going to be a tornado. I kept thinking to myself, what my escape plan would be best. I have never (knock on wood) been anywhere close to a tornado, but with the weather these days, you just have to count your blessings. Upon staying up half the night worried that I was going to be swept away, my baby girl was sick and my hubby was tired and exausted which equals him being very arnery. Yes I said arnery. I only use that word when I am referring to an old man who hasn't has his breakfast, and last night, I was about ready to cook up some eggs! But morning soon came and She is feeling better. I let the hubby sleep in, and Im am already on my 3rd cup of coffee (I have never liked the stuff, but comming very fond of it lately) and I can tell its going to be a long day.

I am still in limbo between getting into our new house (yeah excitement) but we haven't quite closed on it yet. So I reside here (where ever the wind takes me) and I am getting very cranky about the whole situation. The family wardrobe is currently bundled up in the back of my vehicle and I only have one pair of shoes, and they aren't the ones that make me feel pretty. So with that being said. Im keeping a positive attitude and haping that this wind will blow in some sunshine, if only for another few minutes to brighten up the day.

My my.. It has been a while. I am still not into my home *sigh* these things sure do take time. But as I have said before. Patience is quite rewarding. So I am enjoying time back and forth, visiting family and friends. I have enjoyied all my comments left on here. Thanks to all of you , you truely are amazing! I mean that! To all my new followers, I just want to say thank you, and appreciate all your comments. I sure hope you all bare with me here. I have some really fun and exciting ideas that I cant wait to share with all of you fabulous peeps!

Sweet tooth

I have the biggest sweet tooth ever. This isn't just something that happens spuratically. This happens daily. I love sweets. I would rather take a hunk-a-slice of cheesecake then my dinner. If you have a sweet wine and cheeries, count me in. Im serious. After dinner, and the kids go to bed, I am rummaging through sweet treat drawer. I have often considered getting rid of this, because I am horrible at being able to stop myself. NO SELF CONTROL! Its not excessive, I would have to say in my defense. I do, of course, take it all in moderation.

Happy Easter! I am so happy during this time of year. The kids are excited, the adults aren't too overwhelmed. Spring is in the air, and that means summer is yet to come! FLowers are usually in full bloom (well here athome there is sometimes still snow) but regardless, we are happy and content. ♥

Easter Traditions

Easter traditions differ around the world. Here are just a few of them.
Children in the United States and Canada say the Easter bunny or rabbit brings eggs at Easter. In Germany and England, they say the hare brings them. The hare looks like a rabbit, but it's larger, with longer ears and legs.

In Australia, rabbits are quite a nuisance as they are not native to the land. For this reason, there is an attempt being made to dub the Bilby as the the chief egg bringer of the land. For lack of a better description, the Bilby looks a bit like a cross between a mouse and a rabbit.

In Italy, Belgium and France, children say Easter eggs are brought by the church bells. There, church bells do not ring from Good Friday until Easter Sunday. Because of this, people say that the bells have flown off to Rome. As the bells fly back home for Easter, they drop colored eggs for boys and girls to find.
But there are more foods than eggs to enjoy on Easter!

People in Russia eat an Easter bread that is full of plump white raisins and tastes like cake. In some countries of Eastern Europe, people enjoy an Easter Cake called babka. It's shaped like a skirt -- babka means "little old woman". Easter cakes in Italy are shaped like a rabbit, which is a symbol of birth and new life and many other countries make cookies and cakes shaped like a lamb, a symbol of Jesus. Hot cross buns are another traditional Easter bread with icing in the shape of a cross.

This next little lovely comes Sandi all the way from Bucuresti, Romania! The post card shows Piata Universitatu.(University Plaza)

Wow. The details on this postcard are wonderful. This University is in the center of the city ans Sandi says that its near the old pos of Bucherest with lots of places where people love to dance. This sounds so interesting!!

What a painting this is. I really do love this! I did some research on this postcard because I loved it so much and found that this painting is called The Seine, which is representing the Seine River that runs through Paris. The old Trocadéro Palace is the building that is in the background.

Whew. hello lovlies! I am sitting at a computer at my moms house, and I have been a bit stressed lately. We are in the process of getting into our home (jumping with joy) but these sorts of things can be a process. Upon being being back home, I feel like a bum. Staying at the in-laws and at my parents house until this house is ready to become 100% ours. I of course love being back home and seeing my family is even more awesome, but I must say, Im ready to be into a place! So from time to time, I am able to get on here and read your lovely comments and emails. I must say. I won a AWESOME handbag from theclassyturtle.com and I am going to be waiting by the mailbox for the next while until I get it. If you get a minute you should go check it out. Its Marvelous! So I am in a rush. So I just wanted to do a tidbit on here, to tell each and everyone of you individually that I think you rock, and I wish we were closer so we could have tea. Painting Marshmellows - with the kiddos

Lets get creative!

Easter is almost here! Yes its approaching fast. When I go into the small grocery store here they have this shelf stocked full of candy {too expensive for anyone to buy - major disadvantage for living in a small town} The peeps and chocolate malted Easter eggs will remain fully stocked until well after Easter. So until then, I wanted to make some yummy treats. Something that the kids could do, and enjoy! So I set out to find a edible paint. I found this:

1 can sweetened condenced milk + food coloring = Edible paint. Isn't that easy peasy?!

Well what better way then to do it, on a cold spring day, and when I have extra kids over to play. {always lots of fun!!}

So we got everything started! This is what you will need, and this is how you will need to prep!

SUPPLIES:

Edible paint - listed above

Marshmellows

Stick pretzles

some paper to cover your table with. Just tape the ends down

Paintbrushes

Heres how we prepped:

After covering your surface with the paper.

Take a stick pretzle and stick it in the end of the marshmellow.

This gives the little hands a chance to grab the pretzles and paint the 'mellows.

Then put a paintbrush in each color of paint and let the little ones go to town. After the kiddos are done, I transfered the masterpieces to a 9x13 glass casserole dish to let them dry. It took them several hours to finally dry, but by that time there were only a few left.

This is very sticky, but well worth it. Something we might continue doing each year. We might even take on adding some candies to make these look more loveable!

Im comming home - song

French Toast Casserole = a good day

We had these babies for dinner. And there was so much left over, we had them again for breakfast. For being the first time that I tried this recipe out, I have to say, "SCRUMPTIOUS"

Of course I went back for seconds! OH, and this picture doesn't show it, but I used lots of syrup, and didn't even feel bad about it!

RECIPE:

This makes a 9x13 casserole dish, and it rises and theres tons!

So if you aren't cooking for a whole family like me, then reduce it in half!

1 whole wheat loaf of bread, and u can also use french bread)
1/2 c. raisins
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup milk
2 cups half and half ( YOU CAN JUST USE total 3 cups of milk)
2/3 c. sugar ( or just enough to sweeten)
dozen eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

preheat @350
genrously butter casserole dish. YOu can Trim crusts (but why waste!) Cut each slice into fourths and arrange on bottom of baking dish can be overlapping. In mixing bowl beat eggs, rasins, cinnamon, milk, half and half, sugar and vanilla. (I used a Beater and whipped it up for a minute or so. It was kinda frothy!)

Pour mixture over bread. Let set for about 10 minutes to soak up. If there is alot of liquid then add some more bread to soak up liquid.
bake for 55 minutes at 350 degrees or until knife inserted in center comes out dry. if the top starts to turn dark just cover with foil until its done. cooking time will vary!

When its done, let cool for about 15 minutes uncovered. Cut and serve with maple syrup!

A recent trip back home had me very excited. That was until we hit 10,000 feet in elevation and it was practically a 'chain-up" area, but unfortuanly we didn't have chains for the tires, so we gusted through some drifts and cruized on through like we were pro's. We have lived in some pretty crappy places that are known for Blizzards in July so what the heck.

But on our way back home, I realized how changeable Wyoming is.. and so I decided to snap some photos. These are all taken within about a 4 hour gap across from the Idaho border to our destination in Wyoming.

Well today, I will be loading up a uhaul and headed back home. A sigh of relief, and a sigh of nervousness. I believe we will be alright. I have faith that everything has happened for a reason. Please do excuse my absence.

Mini Calzones- its whats for dinner

WHATS FOR DINNER TONIGHT?? Mini Calzones

There were several recipes online for calzones, but I wanted something simple and fast. So I bunched a load of recipes together and came of with one very short and simple one. It was delicious.

WE I defintally will be making these again.

RECIPE

Buttermilk bisquits (i used 10) and refridgerated the leftover
1 pound turkey sausage
1 onion choped
sliced olives
shredded cheese (however much you'd like)
pizza sauce

Brown turkey with onion. When fully cooked add olives. Add cheese and mix around. Cover.

Roll out the bisuits, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on it, and add another big scoop of meat mixture.

Then fold over in half like a calzone

Bake at 375 for about 11 - 13 minutes or until done.

Thats it!

For me this postcard brought back memories of when I was younger and loved summer fun! She has a beach ball so I can only imagine the she is perhaps looking forward to going somehere, or comming home exausted from a Sunny day out in the sun!

I have nver been to Sanivel Island, Florida before. But I loved this card. I love the ocean, and this looks like a perfect place for a day out on the beach.

I also found this song by the First Aid Kit girls, and I loved it. Its a live song, and I enjoyed it. So I thought I would share. As I sit here, I plan on going back to research more on this little band, because I think these girls sound great.

While strolling through the streets of a small town close to my house, I seen a really cool store with all sorts of thrifty stuff. So of course I stopped in. There was this wine bottle stopper that caught my eye. I went to ask the man at the front desk if he could reccomend a glue for me to fix it. We got on the conversation of wine bottle stoppers, and he gave it to me for free!

This is not glued back together, I just placed it together so I could see the after picture when it was fixed.

Needless to say, I didn't know what kind of glue to use..

NEWSFLASH.. I USED GORILLA GLUE AND OMYGOODNESS!

It worked like a charm.

Literally. (yes I made charms or as I like to call them 'embelishments' for my wine glasses)

But now I have this.

Upon everything thats happening with my husband layoff.. I found this horoscope quite relevant. I usually dont follow these, but read them from time to time.

Then I watched this movie with my husband and laughed myself silly. It felt good.

Upon watching this show with my husband, I could have rewinded several parts and watched them over and over. But that drives my family crazy, so I just got online and watched it. Now Im sharing. ♥

Due to unexpected circumstances...

The hubby came home early yesterday with his head held unreasonably low. The look in his eye and the silence after I asked him what was wrong, was really the only thing I needed to know that there was bad news ahead. "I was laid off." Wow. Ton of bricks. We've been through this before. Several times in the last few years. Immediatly my mind started racing. O -gosh.

What are we going to do?

Well we do have some back up plans. Thank goodness we have been through this before, we are quick to make decisions. We are always in "pick up and go' mode. well sorta. I have a hard time with this, because I am a nester. My home is my nest. I just cant seem to ever get settled before we pick up and leave again.

After he told me the news., I hugged my husband, gave him a kiss, and told him "we got this!"

I know we got this. By the end of the evening, we are sifting through every possible positives that can come out of this. We came up with a few.

I believe we have both come to the end of the road to persue this dream. It was a good dream. ♥
We are now looking up, and looking at the better of this situation. We will move forward with our hearts open to life being unexpected. We will get through this. Soon we will look back and smile, and say that this has only made us stronger.

::Sigh:: I feel much better now.

Living in West Yellowstone, MT I have seen moose in my front yard before. They are such enormous animals that to see one up close is kinda scary!

1. Something that makes me a great friend is, Im a good listener.

2. I am a person of OCD traits, people watcher some say its eaves dropping but really who does that? I am a mother and wife who dedicates everything I do to them .

3. I am not a fan of spaghettios.. The smell - look and taste makes me dry heave. I am only thinking of this because the kiddos just recently had some and they love them.

4. If I had to describe myself in 3 words, they would be A "beatuful - emotional - mess" at times.

5. Something I'm really cheap about is well I like to be frugal and still be classy.

6. Something I'm willing to splurge on is birthday gifts/ holiday gifts. wether it be for me or my family and friends.

7. I would trade my curly -frizzy -hair for straight - shiny hair in a heartbeat.

What Ive been making -lately.

I have been on a crafty kick lately. Anywho, I will take this a good sign. So I upcycled this tshirt that was too small for me, and made it into a sleeveless dress for my little diva. She loved it and so did I.

This was the first postcard ever that I made, so I decided to keep it instead of sending it out. ♥

THIS BREAKFAST CASSEROLE IS SO EASY! All you gatta do is whip up some eggs, ham, cheese and potatoes (pototoes can be precooked) Then add some (green peppers, bacon, olives, and onions - which are all optional) Butter the bottom of your cooking dish (9x13) When you get your mixture all mixed and whipped up add some salt and pepper, then you take about 6 slices of bread and rip them into tiny chunks and layer the bottom of your dish (this can be done with or without bread) Then pour mixture over the bread. Bake at 350 for about 45-50 minutes or until the eggs are done. about the last 3 minutes add more cheese. THIS IS SCRUMPTIOUS.

NOw all Im missing is some dessert! HOW DO WALNUT COOKIES SOUND? I gatta get me a good recipe!

My Husband, the Lineman

My husband has been dedicated to his job since I have met him. Working in his apprentiship to get his journemand ticket as a UNION JOURNEY MAN. We have traveled all over the west to keep his apprentiship strong. With the job econmy striking the West, he have had our set backs. And the PROS and CONS are about equally parted. A downfall to my post here, is that there just may not be a light at the end of this tunnel for my husband to get his ticket. {a certification that says he has all his HOT WORK hours to be passed as a LINEMAN instead of just and Apprentice} We say this because the last few moves have brought us to these Teeny tiny towns that dont have much work going on. So how is a Man suppose to get his Hot work hours?

Lately we have seriously been considering going back home and letting the last 6 years we have put into this be in the past. WE are sad about it, but its something we are thinking about very seriously. Not only with the moves, but taking my oldest out of school 2 times a year just to move is taking a toll on him as well. THis only saddens us to a point, and then we think about all the opportunites we will have moving back home. The family and friends we once knew are all there. Home is where our heart is.

Linework is in the top 10 Most dangerous jobs. Everyday that my husband goes to work, I hope and pray that he will return safely and that the guys he works with take that extra precaution to make sure he does to.

I just want to express how in love I am with a man, who works so hard to please all of us. We have spent minimal time together the past years due to his 10 hour days, 2 hours minimal studying {EVERYDAY} and on call. {darn those calls when we no sooner sit down to dinner and the phone rings for him to go out on trouble call}

Through everything, whatever his decision will be, I will stand by him.

Look at the lovely package it came in! That is darling!

This cell phone case was custom made to my liking, isn't it darling! Although I must have given the wrong measurements because it is a very very tight fit.. that just makes me look forward to the next cell phone I get. I will keep this forever! I love it!

**UPDATE** with a little stretching and some patience I GOT IT TO FIT! IM SO STOKED!

This little guy came along for the ride! He will make an adorable addition to my new home (if everything goes as planned for our new home, cross your fingers!) Then I will make sure he is snug in our Christmas tree, and forever more I will be thankful. Thanks again Chrissy! I am very pleased, and you inspire me!

Oh my goodness.. have you seen the movie "Letters to God"? I watched it tonight and I bawled my eyes out. My kids and husband already know how I am so they just looked at me and smiled about it. But really, inside my heart was aching for the little boy and his family in this movie. Afterward, I just grabbed both my little ones and hugged them, and told them how much I loved them. ♥

Some of you lovlies are new here, and so I thought I would introduce myself a bit. (this is an older post but its very explanitory) I want to thank all my new followers for making this blog so special. Who would have thought that I would have started out with myself as the only follower, and then soon have almost 300 (oh and a giveaway will be comming soon, once I hit 300) PROMISE!

Im a 20-something Wife and mommy who ♥'s to daydream and listen to music. My family and I have relocated atleast once a year for the past 5+ years due to job openings and layoffs. I am just trying to make each new place we move to more like a 'home' and I find it awfuly difficult at times. Its a journey that has its ups and downs and everything inbetween...

Okay, so where to start....

For the most part, I am a happy kinda gal.

I am everything and then some.

I have high hopes and great dreams.

I have 2 beautiful children who bring joy to my life each and every day.

My hubby is my best friend and companion. He is a very dedicated father and a admire him for his hard work and ethics. He amazes me. I truely admire and love him.

Pets are wonderful and I believe they bring a special kind of happiness to the family.

Im scared of spiders, its not that I just dont like them, but when I see one, I have a hard time sleeping at night because of it. I have liable reasons for this, and I just plain dislike them.

I am sometimes overly caring and I cry when I see someone else cry.

I have a horrible habit of dry heaving if something grosses me out. Some think this is an awful trait.. but I just cant help it!.

A new found interest of mine is dandilions.. it could be pictures of, or the thought of wishies.. I am uncertain.. I just really like em'.

'Art' seems to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I mean I litteraly get chills. Now thats when you know you have seen something brilliant.

I{heart} graffiti, for some reason, the passing trains or the dead end alley always have an art creation on them.. and I just absolutly love it.

I love flowers. A especially favorite of mine is the Lily.

Art and photography are just two things that never seize to amaze me. I couldn't live without it.

1. The best prank I ever pulled was I can remember any good ones. I usually end up laughing and ruining the whole thing!

2. The best prank ever pulled on me was geez really, uhm... this one really stumps me.

3. A day without a good tune and the random act of saying "i love you" is a day wasted.

4. The most important things in life are knowing that you have people in your life who love you and will take the time out of each day just to show you they love you .

5. I dream of owning a home and a security place to go. Also, traveling with my hubby and kids to far away places.

6. I dread getting up early in the morning!

7. A discovery I made this week was In order for new journeys to begin, you must close the old one and leave it behind. There is no use stressing out over things you have no control over. ♥
